NYPD officer suspended without pay following 'disturbing apparent chokehold incident'
Following a "swift" investigation by the New York Police Department's Internal Affairs Bureau, a police officer involved in a "disturbing apparent chokehold incident in Queens" has been suspended without pay, said Police Commissioner Dermot Shea.
