New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has signed legislation that would bar people who attack or kill a gay person from arguing they panicked over their victim's sexuality.

Florida driver seen dragging deputy over 100 yards on interstate on-ramp is charged

A Florida driver has been charged with attempted murder of a law enforcement officer and aggravated assault after police video showed him dragging a Seminole County deputy over 100 yards on an interstate on-ramp.

पुरेशा पावसाअभावी मुंबईकरांची पाणीचिंता कायम

पावसाने मुंबई शहर आणि उपनगरांत जोर धरला असला तरी मुंबईला पाणीपुरवठा करणाऱ्या ठाणे जिल्ह्यातील तलावांच्या क्षेत्रात अद्याप दमदार साथ दिलेली नाही. गेल्या दोन दिवसांच्या पावसात सात तलावांमध्ये मिळून फक्त सहा हजार दशलक्ष लिटर म्हणजे मुंबईकरांच्या दोन दिवसांच्या पाण्याची वाढ झाली आहे.
